Membership discount, introductions, injuries and cancellation

Member recruitment discount

Members of LTC Startbaan who introduce a new senior member will receive a 10% discount on the membership fee per appointed member under certain conditions, with a maximum of five members.

The conditions:

• The newly appointed senior member must remain a member of LTC Startbaan for at least two association years.
• The new member has not been a member of LTC Startbaan for at least the two previous association years.
• The discount is a one-off and is granted on the contribution of the following association year.
• Junior members can also introduce senior members. They will then receive a 10% discount on their membership fee, excluding training contribution.
• The name of the referring member must be stated on the registration form of the new member.
• The promotion is valid until further announcement.
• Board members are excluded from this promotion.

Introduction of non-members

Every (youth) member can bring a guest four times per season for free to play tennis with for half an hour. Great fun to introduce friends to a nice game of tennis!

Do you want to take someone with you more than four times? No problem! Send an email to the treasurer for this. Please state your name and the association number on your digital membership card. After confirming your email, you can reserve a tennis court via the booking system.

The costs for 10 additional half-hour sessions of tennis with a guest are € 50.00. You can purchase an introductory card once per season.

The board has the freedom to impose further conditions on this right.

Injury settlement

In case of long-term (at least two consecutive months) injury or illness or in case of pregnancy during the tennis season, please report this to the membership administration by e-mail. Your membership card will be blocked and your membership will be frozen and converted into a temporary donorship. This costs €35.00 in the event of an injury before the start of the season.

If you get injured during the season, you cannot receive a settlement of the contribution afterwards; an important precondition is that the reservation of a tennis court is blocked at the beginning of the injury period. Don't wait to get in touch and don't take it for granted that 'it's already known that I can't play right now'!

If the injury report is made during the season, the contribution will be compensated pro rata in the following season.

Termination

Membership is renewed automatically each year. Termination of membership must be done by mail to the membership administration, before December 1. 

After December 1 a penalty of €40 will be charged. 

Cancellations after January 31 are not processed until the end of the season and are not entitled to credit or refund of the membership fee. 

A cancellation with an entity other than the membership administration (e.g. a trainer or tennis school) is NOT a valid cancellation and therefore cannot be processed.

You will receive a confirmation of the cancellation from the membership administration within two weeks. If you have not heard anything after two weeks, please contact the membership administration again.
