Tennis for seniors

LTC Startbaan has more than 700 senior members. We are happy to offer these members a nice package of tennis options.

Club tournaments

We do this by organizing many tournaments. This includes the Opening Tournament and the Club Championships. We also organize a number of fun tournaments, such as the Partymix, the Jour des Dames and Jour des Hommes, a 105 tournament and the Nations Cup tournament. Open Startbaan Tournament

Naturally, members can also participate in the Open Startbaan Tournament, which is traditionally played in week 25. The top players in the Netherlands participate in this tournament, but club players can also play at any level.

Clubladder and toss

Fixed activities during the season are the club ladder and the toss moments. You can participate in the club ladder in singles, doubles or mixed. You can choose how often you play. You can challenge other tennis players to a game. During the toss you can play a game with other members at fixed times.

Competition

Naturally, we also participate in the national Spring and Autumn competitions organized by the KNLTB in the months of April and May, and September and October respectively. The competition is suitable for all levels. As LTC Startbaan we play first class nationally, the lowest regional class and everything in between. So every tennis player at his or her level can join one of the more than forty teams that we send out every year.

Target audiences

As LTC Startbaan we pay attention to all tennis players. We pay special attention to veterans with the Old Stars program and new members, who are introduced to the association by the new members committee.

In short, LTC Startbaan is a lively club, where every tennis player can get his or her money's worth and where tennis is played at all levels in a pleasant atmosphere.
